Maharasyi and Tyrone are a couple of talented musicians engaged to be married this August. The Bride to be, Maharasyi, is a soulful professional singer and was a contestant on the TV show “The Voice” (season 13). A bassist friend from church suggested that she meet his brother, an amazingly talented drummer. Once she met Tyrone, they totally clicked and have been together for 2.5 years. This musical duo was such a joy to photograph and are so down to earth to hang out with and shoot.

“WB Event Planning prepared a Citrus infused Naked Cake, which we designed with Dried Citrus fruit. The citrus theme continues with a blood orange Mimosa served with a sprig of mint. During this season, the cacti were blooming like crazy with pink and yellow blooms! A perfect color combination with this color palette.”

This inspired engagement shoot takes place in the Joshua Tree landscape with an elegant theme (a bit of boho) fusing earthen desert tones with citrus and papaya colors. Southern Californian Florist, Oak and Amble, designed florals inspired by the desert blooms along with muted pink, blood orange and lemon tones.
