This Palos Verdes wedding inspired California Coast Shoot was featured on The White Wren this week! Taking place on a beautiful green meadow overlooking the the ocean, this area had just received weeks of rain. Once a coastal dry meadow, it was now vibrant with life! I love the wind swept hair and bohemian flora combined with a bit of elegance! Sweet Caroline Styles is the designer of the two piece blush wedding dress. Silver Fox Calligraphy designed the calligraphy suite with blush, light plum, and gold accents. She wrote a poem from Elizabeth Browning’s ‘A Man’s Requirements’ in Gold Calligraphy on handmade paper (from Fabulous Fancy Pants). It’s absolutely lovely and I adore the romantic sentiment!
Finishing off the table was a coordinating floral centerpiece with a cotton runner underneath. Naturally dyed by avocado pits, this loose cotton gauze runner had a lovely tone of cool pink. Actually, this shade perfectly matched the name cards.
Pastel California Poppies and roses were the main flowers in Brittany’s wild bouquet with a matching flower crown arranged by Wendy Bouma (from WB Event Planning).
Gold rimmed plates, gold flatware, and blush glass goblets from Cherished Rentals adorned the tablescape.
Nearby on a pedestal table (Party Pieces by Perry), stood a 2 tier naked cake. In addition, it was topped off with fresh cut flowers by WB Event Planning.
Hand Torn delicate handmade paper were the name cards. Each name was beautifully hand written on top of the pale plum paper by Ciarra Claire. What a lovely setting for a romantic coastal garden wedding!
